Anecdote of Netaji
Centenary School:
Netaji Centenary School, a C.B.S.E affiliated senior
secondary English medium school located at Sahebganj Road under the
sub-division of Dinhata in the district of Coochbehar.
This
private institution is, so to speak, the brain – child of Kamal Kanti Guha, the
late mass leader of North Bengal. Since its inception the institution has
earned an enviable reputation not only in a sub division but also in the entire
district. The motto of our institution is to make each and every student a good
and cultured human – being. We always Endeavour to instill self respect,
inclination to did activeness etc to our beloved students.
In the age
of cutthroat competition and internet, it is not so vital to provide bookish knowledge.
It is absolutely necessary to create a free and healthy ambience to include the
spirit of nationalism, brotherhood, values, tradition, refined tastes and
decorum.
The
institution always tries to motivate the pupils to follow the vestige of the
great stalwarts like Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and
innumerable conspicuous figures of Mother India. The sagacious facilitators of
the institution always try heart and soul to keep the pupils abreast with the
most advanced developments, phenomena, techniques, latest thoughts, facts and
news.
Medium of
instruction is English but due emphasis is given to other languages viz. Hindi
and Bengali.
Some salient features of our school:
1. The infrastructure of our institution is probably the
best in the vicinity. Construction work is still going on war footing with a
view to providing quality facilities to our fond students. Once will have to
keep in mind that ours is a purely private institution sans any financial aid
from any quarters.
2. The location of our school is within a stone’s throw from the heart of the town.
3. Both the facilitators and the attendants are really quite
sincere to look after the toddlers and the scholars.
4. The teaching faculty of our institution is quite sincere,
innovative, dynamic, affectionate, learned, vigorous and amicable. The
institution takes pride in them.
5. The facilitators are always on their toes to provide
quality in various domains – humanities, science, social science and
co-curricular activities.
6. Now – a – days it is quite impossible to proceed further
in the realms of education, business, official works without proper knowledge
of the lingua franca viz. English language without undermining vernacular
languages.
7. In our institution students experience the merriment of
learning without any hitches.
8. Students of the institution take part in various inter
school quiz competitions, debates, seminars, science exhibition. We can boost
of our multi-faceted pupils.
9. Pupils of our institution participate in various
co-curricular activities viz. cricket, football, badminton, volleyball,
Kho-kho, tree plantation program , survey, seminar recitation, music, dance,
dance drama , drama etc. quite enthusiastically.
10. Students of our institution are taught to be gender
sensitive and non gender discrimination is entertained here.
11. Each and every member of the N.C.S family is always
alert to thwart unwanted incidents, and every rook of corner of the school
campus is under CCTV surveillance.
12. Separate lavatories, modern well equipped composite labs
, computer lab , well-furnished library , etc. are available here at the
institution.
13. Bus, vans and cars are available as means of conveyance.
14. E- classes / Digital classes are held regularly.
15. The whole school campus is fortified. Naturally pupils
are quite safe & sound here inside the school periphery.
